0:00 Hi, I'm Katie from Relab, and today we're going to show you the map. The first thing you want to do is pop an address into your search bar.
0:10 This will bring me to the map on the left and the property details panel on the right-hand side. To fold that away, I can click on At the top we've got a number of toggles, and at the bottom we've got our map layers.
0:23 Let's start with our services. I can see the type of service, I can also see the circumference of the pipes, the material of the pipes, where the manholes are sitting, etc.
0:34 To understand this in more detail, I encourage you to reference the legend, which is on the right of your screen.
0:40 Next, we've got floodplains. This will show me all This will show me all of the at-risk areas for flood.
0:56 Next to that we've got hazards, which will show me the flood hazards and align with the most at-risk areas in my flood zones.
1:05 Next, we've got our zones. This is visible on the map and you'll see things like terrace housing, commercial, single home, etc.
1:15 Then we've got consents. As we zoom in and out, we'll get additional detail on the type of consent and how many doors are there.
1:23 If you want to explore the consent in further detail, you can click on the consent and open the property details panel for that specific property.
1:33 Next, we've got CV. This will show me the current CV and whether or not it's gone out up or down in value from the previous CV and by what percentage.
1:42 Then we've got our sales toggle this will show me recent sales in the area in pink and for sale in the area under green.
1:50 If I see a hammer, I know it's an auction. If I see a numerical value, I know that it is for sale.
1:56 With an asking price. And if I see a home with a heart, I know that it is for sale by negotiation.
2:04 Next we've got public land. Zealand. This will show me Auckland council and crown land, including housing, New Zealand. that concludes the toggles at the top.
2:14 Down the bottom, we've got our default map. Which we're currently looking at. Next to that, we've got our boundary map, satellite map, contour map, showing up and down of one metre.
2:28 And we can also see our street view. The last thing one is our measurement tool, which we will dive into a bit deeper in our next video, where I'll go through all of the additional features and buttons on the map that we haven't covered in this video.
