FAQs

Where do I find owner/client details for my CMA reports?

Owner details are located in the left navigation bar of each CMA under Owner Details. This is where you enter the client's name, email, and phone number that will appear in "Prepared For" data fields.

What's the difference between "Text" boxes and specific data boxes?

"Text" boxes allow free-form writing plus @ symbol data insertion. Specific data boxes (like "Full City Address") only display predetermined data and prevent accidental formatting changes, making them ideal for maintaining brand guidelines.

How do I ensure consistent date formatting across my entire report?

You must change the date format for each individual date field. Click on each "variable.today" instance, access the settings, and apply the same date format to maintain consistency throughout your report.

Can I use this feature with franchise branding?

Yes, you can add custom content while maintaining required formatting standards using restricted data boxes for brand-controlled elements. If you are making changes to colours, fonts and design elements it may pay to check with your brand directly first.

How can I troubleshoot to see which type of text box I've added?

  1. Open your CMA report
  2. Click the Guide Box icon at the bottom of your report
  3. Blue text boxes will appear throughout your report
  4. Look for boxes labeled "Text" - these are free-form text boxes where you can add content
  5. Boxes with specific labels (like "Full City Address") are restricted data boxes

When should I use CMA Design Studio vs Advanced Editing Studio?

For simple text changes, use the CMA Design Studio. For advanced customisation like adding new text boxes or changing layouts, access the Advanced Editing Studio using the Edit Page button.
